Our guest speaker for the March 10, 2014 weekly Bathurst Rotary meeting was Mr. Brett Boudreau.  He currently is only 21 years of age, yet he told us of his diagnosis, his challenges, his battle, and his current triumph over living with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia while in his only in his first year of university.  His young life has to date been very difficult, but those challenges have resulted in a strong young man with wonderful insight into his illness.  He provided Bathurst Rotary with an interesting and powerful story of the difficulties he has overcome that have now resulted in his ability to help others with Mental Illness but most importantly to break down the barriers and stigma of Mental Illness by sharing his story.  Although such ability to do public speaking can be difficult for him, you never would have known it from the heart-wrenching story yet hopeful and positive outcome we received from him.   Thank-you Brett!
